Relentless in Rescue
We are a non-profit volunteer wilderness search and rescue (SAR) team that specializes in high and low-angle rescues, rope rescues, and mountain/vertical terrain operations. We are dedicated to saving lives and reducing risks in remote, difficult-to-access environments. Our work involves both emergency rescue operations and preventive efforts aimed at reducing the likelihood of accidents in these high-risk areas.

Our mission is to provide swift, compassionate, and expert search and rescue services in
wilderness and remote environments, specializing in rope rescue and technical operations. We
work closely with local Fire, EMS, and law enforcement agencies to ensure a coordinated, effective
response to emergencies. With a commitment to saving lives, our team uses advanced training,
specialized equipment, and a collaborative approach to locate, assist, and safely extract individuals
in distress. Through preparedness, community partnerships, and education on wilderness safety,
we strive to protect and serve those who venture into the wild.

SAR OPS was built on a foundation of service, courage, and community. Our 100% volunteer team is certified in technical rope recue, swift water rescue, wilderness first responder, EMS response, and urban SAR. Each member trains to nationally recognized standards to ensure every mission is handled with professionalism and care.

Saving Lives Through Expert Search and Rescue
From high-angle rope rescues on rugged terrain to back-country searches in severe weather, SAR OPS is on the front lines. We work closely with public safety agencies, law enforcement, fire departments, and local communities to respond to missing persons reports, wilderness emergencies, and natural disasters.

SAR OPS is a volunteer-run, donor-funded 501(c)(3) Search and Rescue team.
We receive no government funding—every vehicle and piece of life-saving gear is paid for by donors or, when needed, by our own team members out of pocket.
